Shormary Cottage is a two bedroom property situated on the shore of the Pentland Firth with spectacular views to the Orkney Islands.

The cottage has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, thus accommodating up to four people.

The sitting room features a patio door facing the sea and there is a fully equipped kitchen/diner and a shower room, a washing machine is provided.

From the cottage you can supervise the children on the beach below exploring the rock pools, building sand castles or gathering shells.

Why not pick up the binoculars to watch the wildlife, is that a seal ,an otter, a dolphin or even a whale? 

They are all out there, and as for the birds they are too numerous to list but the favourites are the herons, buzzards and all the various sea birds.

You can walk along the headland in either direction and there is information in the cottage on lots of other walks and things to do, including Wildlife Cruises and trips to the Orkney Islands - a very interesting and worthwhile day out.

Heating and cooking are electric and both electricity charges and linen are included in the weekly hire charge. Pets welcome. Private parking is available.
